eQQui Services Fees
The 12.9% markup for service fees saves you from the more costly and time-consuming requirements of traditional interpreter search.
How to Earn from eQQui
There are only a few things to learn for a hassle-free interpreter search on eQQui.

Find the best interpreter(s) for your needs using the Search boxes.

Use the Lounge feature to save your selected interpreters, or bookmark them in your Likes menu by liking their profiles.

Use Chat to directly communicate with your prospective interpreters.

Review your Lounge options and Request your selected interpreter, along with the basic job description.

Pay through your chosen method. Just add the 12.9% Service Fee to your Total Service Fee based on the Listing Rate of the interpreter(s), type of interpretation, and project duration.

When your selected interpreter clicks Accept to confirm your request, you’re all set. Just follow your schedule, click Completed, and Rate your interpreter. Don’t forget to leave a good Review when you’re happy with the service!

What Users Must Prepare
Before Sending a Request
Include this in the project details to help interpreters easily check whether they can accept your projects. If these details are flexible or uncertain, discuss the changes with your interpreter by sending them a Direct Message prior to making a Request.
An exact address would help the interpreter prepare his/her travel time; optional in cases that would compromise confidentiality
Include what your ineterpreters are expected to do, if it’s a one-on-one meeting, a recurring assignment, a short/long-term engagement, a conference, onstage presentation, etc.
Code of Ethics for Clients
- Read interpreters’ My Page profiles carefully and be sure to match your needs with their skills and experiences. Give them study materials to help them prepare for the assignment.
- Establish strong professional relationships with your interpreters. Those who regularly work with you will most likely try to accommodate you whenever you need them.
- Always treat interpreters as you’d like to be treated. Interpreters will accept your projects and fit them with their schedules especially if they enjoy working with you.
- Clearly communicate the details of your project to your interpreters to avoid misunderstandings (e.g. if travel time counts as interpreting time, who they’ll interpret for and their expectations).
- Anticipate busy times when the demand for interpreters is high (e.g. international conference season).
- If your demand for interpreters is high, you may choose an agency member of eQQui to assist you.
Fixing Minor Technical Issues
I can’t chat with interpreters and see their full profiles.
Make sure you’ve completed your account verification with eQQui. Only then can you view the profiles of all interpreters, including those who opted to show it only to registered members Once done, you’ll also be able send and receive Direct Messages.
My app doesn’t seem to function. You may be encountering errors you can troubleshoot on your own, so try to:
- Perform a hard reset by turning your phone off and back on
- Disable your WiFi connection or check your mobile data
- Reboot your device to reset the network connection
- Reset your brower settings and clear your cache
- Refresh the site, or close the app and reopen it
- Toggle your airplane mode on and off
- Log out and log back in
- Force quit the app
